About AIE
Allied Industrial Engineering Limited (AIE) is a privately owned company formed in 1994 to provide machining services to Tasman Pulp and Paper, Kawerau. The business was originally located in the Tasman Pulp and Paper site and was relocated to a new, purpose built 1700 m2 workshop in 1998.
Due to expansion of workload from an increasing customer base and the vision to provide a total engineering solution, the workshop was increased to a total floor area of 2,800 m2 in December 2001, and again to 3,400 m2 in 2004. The new workshop areas created separate areas for large fitting and fabrication work, separating this from the machine shop.
The AIE facility is ideally located in the Eastern Bay of Plenty to provide medium to heavy engineering services to the marine, pulp and paper, wood processing, power generation and other heavy industries.
AIE is increasingly being recognized for their engineering expertise and ability to provide a total engineering manufacturing, maintenance and re-engineering solution and for their commitment to provide the very best plant and machinery and to employ the highest level of skilled tradespeople.
