Repair and Dynamic Balance of Propeller

We were recently contracted to check and Dynamic Balance a 3300mm diameter 5 bladed Stainless Steel propeller that had made contact with a large item in the Pacific Ocean.

By inspecting and measuring the unit on our large borer we were able to provide confirmation that the blade had made contact with a large solid item but had not remained distorted, and the pitch was consistent and true.

Dynamic balancing in our large CEMB balancer was completed to provide certification to ISO 1940 - G6.3
