Fabrication of Fan Runner and Wear Resistant Lined Casing for BHP Steel Glenbrooke

The customer had a problem with high wear rates on the casing and fan runner. Upon closer inspection it was found that a new mounting hub would have to be manufactured and fitted to the existing shaft. The new casing is lined with replaceable wear plates and the inlet cones are replaceable without removing the runner assembly.
