Turbo Alternator End Bell Inspection

AIE recently managed the inspections of turbine rotor end bells, this involved using specialist metallurgy to assess the arcing damage present in the end bell material. The arcing damage was removed successfully giving them another safe life in service.

We also blasted, NDT tested and balanced the main turbine rotor.
