AIE has a team of very competent and experienced welders who are skilled in most welding techniques including manual MIG, manual TIG, pulse MIG, pulse TIG and MMA in stainless steels, carbon steels, alloys and other special steels.

Automated welding techniques using a wide range of wires are used to rebuild worn rotating components on a computerized rotary manipulator. The manipulator was designed and built by AIE and is capable of holding a job up to 4m diameter and 12m long.

The fabrication team is also capable of hard facing and welding bronze and cast iron.

There is also a CNC profile cutter capable of cutting carbon steel plate up to 100mm thick and a set of plate rollers capable of rolling steel plate up to 12mm thick.
