Jason Hughes

Engineering Manager

Jason leads our engineering services team and provides design concepts and engineering solutions to support the AIE Team. Jason manages larger projects with key customers, and develops and maintains relationships between AIE and those customers.

Alastair Webb

Mechanical Project Engineer

Alastair's main role is to manage projects with key customers, and to build strong relationships between AIE and our customers. Alastair has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering qualification. He has a strong background in the Forestry, Metal Fabrication and Materials Handling industries.

Nigel Shaw

Project Manager

Nigel oversees the planning, manufacture and quality of assigned jobs as they progress through our workshop to ensure they are delivered in full, within specification and on time.

Dean is responsible for co-ordinating the planning, manufacture and quality of assigned jobs as they progress through our workshop to ensure they are delivered to the satisfaction of our customers.  

Moataz Bahr

Graduate Engineer

Moataz provides engineering support to workshop staff and customers. His role involves design, draughting and project management work.

Charlene's main role is to support the Engineering and Operations teams by carrying out administrative support tasks.

Simon Jarvinen
Drawing Office Supervisor

Simon's main role is to lead the drawing office, ensuring that customers design and drawing requirements are exceeded. Call Simon if you need design or draughting assistance.

Andre Van Niekerk

Design Draughtsman

Andre's main role is to prepare accurate, detailed drawings to show all necessary specifications for manufacture of plant and machinery and engineering projects using computer aided design systems.
