On the 26th of September 2014 Allied reached the significant milestone of 20 years in business, which also gave us an opportunity to acknowledge the long term service and loyalty of three members of staff that have been with the company since day one. Louise Mitchell was officially AIE’s first employee commencing work one week before the rest of the staff in order to set up the office ready for business. In this week Louise contributed to the early decision as to whether to buy the first computer or use paper accounts. Simon Jarvinen started with Allied as a apprentice and progressed over the years to being a very competent Mechanical Design Engineer. Shane Jaffrey is one of our top tradesmen with significant experience across our customer base. Along with other senior trades staff, Shane has recently taken up the role of representing AIE’s capability in the local market by becoming a key contact for day to day work out of local businesses. Shane and Simon are shown here with Tim Whalley – Operations Manager and Paul Raethel – founding and current owner cutting the cake and receiving their long service awards and gifts. Louise Mitchell was absent on this day – she is shown below with her service award.
